Insane Clown Posse, Seedless, Tombstone Wasteland and Red Sun Rising

ICPDon’t be scared … it’s not a murderous pack of clowns. It’s just Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. Detroit’s Insane Clown Posse brings its horror-filled hip-hop and truckload of Faygo soda to House of Rock on Thursday. They’ll be joined by Big Hoodoo, Cane Hill, Blahzay Roze and Trilogy. Doors are at 6 p.m. Born out of wrestling in backyard rings in the 1980s and later a street gang called Inner City Posse, Insane Clown Posse turned to music — specifically horrorcore in admiration of another local musician’s style. Since 1992’s “Carnival of Carnage,” the group has released 13 albums and has performed on stages around the world, including its famous Gathering of the Juggalos. The group released “The Marvelous Missing Link: Lost” and The Marvelous Missing Link: Found” in 2015.
Seedless has crafted its live shows into a high-energy performance that has high fan participation and leaves them clamoring for more. Check them out Friday at House of Rock with Inna Vision, Audic Empire and Crucial Riddim. Doors are at 8 p.m. Seedless began when a group of five friends that grew up in Orange County bonded over skating, playing music and terrorizing the suburbs before forming  band. Seedless channeled its bond into a positive and catchy hybrid alternative rock/reggae sound that has not so quietly helped the band build its fan base through word of mouth and live performances.

Austin trio Tombstone Wasteland stops by House of Rock on Saturday to headline a night of roots/Americana music. They’ll be joined by Hope & Hostility and Buddy T y Los Chignons. Doors are at 8:30 p.m.
Red Sun Rising
Akron, Ohio, alternative rock group Red Sun Rising aims to be one of those classic groups whose music is built to stand the test of time. C101 presents Red Sun Rising with Of Serpents and Saviors and ZombieKing on Sunday at House of Rock. Doors are at 6:30 p.m. Red Sun Rising doesn’t want to be the flavor of the month or a flash in the pan as it tries to create something that can be lived with for a lifetime. Since first breaking onto the scene in 2012, the group has managed to siphon the pure, potent, powerful guitar chemistry, towering vocals and muscular rhythms into their music while keeping grit intact.
